Sea Salt Gose is already a refreshing beer style on its own — crisp, lightly tart, and finished with a subtle salty touch. But if you want to make your batch even more personal, fruit juice is one of the easiest ways to give it a bright, summer-inspired twist.
With just a small amount of pulp-free juice, you can turn your Sea Salt Gose into something fruitier, sweeter, tangier, or more tropical.
Why Add Fruit Juice to Sea Salt Gose?
Gose naturally pairs well with fruit-forward flavors. Its light tartness helps balance sweetness, while the gentle salt character makes fruit notes feel brighter and more refreshing.
Depending on the juice you choose, your Gose can become:
- Crisp and citrusy
- Juicy and tropical
- Berry-forward and tart
- Soft, fruity, and easy to drink
This makes Sea Salt Gose a great base for DIY flavor experiments.

How the Day 7 Juice Addition Works
For this DIY method, the juice is added during the transfer process.
On Day 7, prepare a clean empty keg and add fruit juice into it.
Then transfer the brew from the fermenting keg into the juice keg using pressure difference.
Once transferred, gently shake the keg to mix the juice evenly, then continue fermentation as usual.
We recommend starting with around 200ml of pulp-free fruit juice.
You can adjust the amount depending on the intensity of the juice and how noticeable you want the fruit flavor to be. For strongly flavored or concentrated juices, consider starting with a smaller amount.
For a cleaner pour, you can transfer once more after fermentation is complete.
Important Notes Before You Try
Use pulp-free juice only.
Avoid:
- Juice with pulp
- Fruit puree
- Fresh fruit pieces
- Thick juice with solids
These can increase the risk of clogging during transfer or serving.
Make It Your Own
The best part of brewing at home is the freedom to experiment. Sea Salt Gose gives you a bright, refreshing base, and fruit juice lets you create your own version, from citrusy and crisp to bold and berry-like.
Try one flavor, blend two together, and find your favorite fruity Gose combination.
