iGulu Irish Stout Ingredient Brew Kit

Yes, it’s possible to brew with this kit manually. However, you’ll need to prepare your own:
*Fermentation keg
*Temperature and pressure control system
*CO₂ supply setup
*Dispensing method

For best results, we strongly recommend using the iGulu Smart Brewer. It automates fermentation, carbonation, and chilling, giving you consistent, high-quality beer with minimal effort.

The signature “dry” finish in traditional Irish stouts comes from high-attenuating yeast, very little residual sugar, and strong roasted bitterness.
Our version, however, uses a medium-attenuation ale yeast, which leaves a touch more malt sweetness in the finish.
The result? A smoother, more balanced stout—still full of rich coffee and cocoa notes, but less sharp and more approachable, especially for first-time dark beer drinkers.

Compared to a Porter, it’s typically more bitter, more deeply roasted, and less sweet—a bolder, more intense dark beer.

Bitterness is moderate to high (around 30–40 IBU), but more like espresso or dark chocolate than hoppy bitterness.
