Belgian Saison home brewing kit for fall season
Inspired by Mike’s love for creative brewing, this Belgian Saison celebrates freedom and imagination in every sip.
As the fall season arrives, nothing pairs better with crisp air and cozy evenings than a glass of Belgian Saison brewed at home.

The Story Behind Our First User Customized Kit

From the very beginning, our founder, David, has been inspired by the incredible ideas shared by our community. In every group conversation and message exchange.
We could feel the passion: “What if iGulu could bring these recipes to life and share them with more people?” That’s how the vision of co-creating with our users was born — turning their brilliant recipes into kits for the entire community, unlocking infinite possibilities.

The story started at CES, when we met Mike, a passionate home brewer who has been using iGulu to experiment with new recipes. It felt natural to invite him to create the very first user collaboration kit with us.

“Hope you’re doing well! Following up on our CES chat, we’d love to officially invite you as iGulu’s first Ambassador & Independent Brew Master to co-design a limited-edition craft kit under your name.”

Why Saison Is the Perfect Fall Style

Mike’s very first recipe on iGulu was a Raspberry Ginger Saison, a brew so unique and beloved that it became his signature. Saison, with its fruity and spicy yeast character, is one of the most versatile beer styles — perfect for creative twists.

And for fall, it’s even better. Whether you add apples, pears, figs, or autumn spices like cinnamon and ginger, a Belgian Saison captures the cozy warmth of the season. It’s refreshing enough for daytime gatherings, yet layered enough to complement crisp autumn evenings.
“The Saison would be where I would lean as home brewers could easily modify it with different fruits or sugars to change it up a bit, as I feel Saisons make amazing fruit beers with that added spice from the yeast.” – Mike

      Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

      1. What is a Saison beer?
A Saison is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale known for its dry finish, fruity esters, and spicy yeast character. Originally brewed for farm workers during the summer, today it’s enjoyed year-round for its refreshing yet complex profile.

      2. What’s the difference between a Belgian Saison and a Farmhouse Ale?
“Farmhouse Ale” is a broader category that includes rustic, traditional beers brewed on farms in Belgium and France. A Belgian Saison is a specific style within this category, typically lighter in body, higher in carbonation, and showcasing distinctive fruity and peppery yeast notes.

      3. What are the best Belgian Saison beers to try?
Some iconic examples include Saison Dupont, Boulevard Tank 7, and Brasserie de Blaugies Saison d’Epeautre. Each offers a unique take on the style, from crisp and dry to fruity and robust. With the iGulu Belgian Saison Brew Kit, you can also create your own version at home.

      4. How much alcohol is in a Saison beer?
Most Belgian Saisons fall between 5% and 7.5% ABV, though some farmhouse-style versions can be lighter or stronger. The balance of alcohol, carbonation, and yeast-driven flavors makes it highly drinkable.

      5. What kind of flavors can I expect?
Expect a combination of fruity esters (like citrus, pear, or apple), peppery spice from the yeast, and a crisp, dry finish. Saisons also pair beautifully with added ingredients — from ginger and raspberries to autumn spices like cinnamon — making them ideal for seasonal creativity.
