RECIPE BREWING TIMES
The optimal temperature range for the Dry Yeast #1 used in the Ale's ingredient kits is 68˚- 71.6° F. When the temperature is below 64.4° F, the activity of yeast becomes slow, resulting in a slower fermentation process. At 68° F, the yeast becomes more active thereby produces an appropriate amount of esters and other flavor compounds, giving the beer a rich aroma and complex taste.
