DIY Flavor

Your Sea Salt Gose Is More Than One Flavor

After the first stage of fermentation is complete, you can add a splash of fruit juice to make your summer brew even brighter, juicier, and more refreshing.

🍍

Pineapple

Bright. Tropical. Juicy. A sunny, refreshing finish.

🫐

Raspberry

Light tartness with a berry kick. Brings out Gose’s natural acidity.

🍇

Grape

Smooth and rounded. Adds gentle fruity sweetness.

🍒

Cherry

Deeper fruit note. Soft sweetness with a richer finish.

Please make sure to use pasteurized, pulp-free juices with no added fruit pieces or preservatives, to maintain a smooth fermentation process and avoid clogging the beer line.
Origin Story

Inspired by a Classic German Style

Gose is a traditional German wheat beer style that originated in Goslar, Germany. Unlike most beers, Gose is known for its refreshing balance of gentle acidity, coriander, and a subtle mineral note.

Common Questions
How sour is Sea Salt Gose?
It has a light, refreshing tartness, but it is not overly sour. The acidity is crisp and balanced, making it easy to drink.
Is Sea Salt Gose actually salty?
Not in an obvious way. The sea salt is very subtle and is used to enhance the beer’s freshness and mineral character, creating a clean, refreshing finish.
Can I add fruit juice during brewing?
We recommend adding fruit juice after the first fermentation is complete. Transfer the beer into a clean fermentation keg, add your juice, and place it back into the machine to continue fermentation. For best results, use pasteurized, pulp-free juice to ensure a smooth fermentation process and prevent clogging. You can also refer to this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aQ_bB8elbA&t=372s
Can I brew Sea Salt Gose with F1 or S1 machines?
Yes. Sea Salt Gose works with both iGulu F1 and S1 machines. The iGulu Smart Brewer helps manage fermentation, carbonation, chilling, and dispensing for a more consistent brewing experience.
Can I brew Sea Salt Gose manually without iGulu?
Yes, it is possible to brew manually, but you will need your own fermentation keg, temperature and pressure control, CO₂ setup, and dispensing method. For beginners, we strongly recommend using the iGulu Smart Brewer to ensure consistent clarity, carbonation, and flavor with minimal effort.
