A LITTLE KNOW-HOW

Before your first brew.

A few useful answers before you get started.

How does Add. Scan. Enjoy. work?
Add the ingredients and water for your recipe, then scan a compatible iGulu brew kit’s RFID card to start its program. Enjoy your brew after fermentation and any required cooling are complete. Timing varies by recipe and operating conditions; scanning does not make the brew ready immediately.
Can I customize fermentation settings?
Yes. Compared with S1, S1 Neo adds user-set fermentation pressure through Master Mode. A separately purchased Master Mode card is required. Master Mode also lets you customize fermentation time and temperature.
Do I need a CO₂ adapter?
You can pour directly with the built-in air pump. For CO₂ serving, use the included compact adapter with a compatible 16 g cartridge, or add the optional current single-head adapter and a compatible external gas cylinder. CO₂ setups are for serving after fermentation. Gas cartridges and cylinders are sold separately unless specified in your selected bundle.
How much can I brew?
Beer brewing capacity is 1 gallon, approximately 4L. Follow the fill limit and ingredient quantities for your selected recipe.
How do I clean it?
Clean and sanitize the keg and beverage-contact parts according to the Neo manual, including dispensing parts after use. Cleaning and preparation are part of each brewing cycle.
Can I bottle my brew?
Counter-pressure bottling is manual and requires accessories, including the appropriate bottle kit and external transfer tubing. It is not a built-in automatic bottling function.
Does S1 Neo support 10L expansion?
No. S1 Neo does not support 10L expansion.
What has changed from S1?
S1 Neo upgrades the display from S1’s 128 × 96 monochrome OLED to a 240 × 296 RGB565 color LCD, with physical buttons and touch interaction. It also adds user-set fermentation pressure through Master Mode. A separately purchased Master Mode card is required for custom time, temperature and pressure. FermControl 2.0 is shared across S1, S1 Neo and F1 Pro.
What are the 5 brewing worlds?
Explore Craft Beer, Vineyard & Orchard, Probiotic Lab, Sparkling & Cold Brew, and Brew-Geek Odyssey. Each recipe has its own ingredients, preparation and program; not every drink uses a guided RFID kit. Custom fermentation settings require a Master Mode card, sold separately.
