The Machine

The look and feel projects a high quality of materials and workmanship. The parts in the box were easy to assembly, without the need for complex instructions, though the manual is well written and clear giving just the right amount of detail. The screen and software was easy to use and I liked the high resolution and uncluttered display. The compressor noise was way below what I was expecting although the air pump was a little noisy.

Operation

I received the machine before the beer kits so I used my own wort to do a trial fermentation. I used the 3 three stage ale method and the machine worked as expected. I also placed a sphere with dry hops in for a few days so far we are day five and the wort has reduced to 1014 so is nearly complete. The temperature was held within a degree or two of target. This machine is much more advanced than a trail machine or prototype, I am very happy with what it can do and it is impressive what has been achieved with the F1 design in a short time.

Delivery & Packaging

The box arrived in Australia in 100% perfect condition , it had stood up extremely well the rigours of transporting it. I particularly liked the cling film protection addition. Internally the box and packaging design not only protected the machine but made it easy to unbox.
