Mead is one of the world’s oldest fermented drinks, crafted from honey, water, and yeast. Across cultures and centuries, it has been enjoyed as a unique expression of honey’s natural character.

Ensure your iGulu keg is clean and properly sanitized. Place the honey pouch in hot water for 10 minutes to soften the contents.

Pour the honey into the keg. Add clean water at room temperature up to the 1 gallon mark and stir well.

Sprinkle in the dry yeast. Do not stir after adding yeast; leave it undisturbed.

Seal the keg and place it into the iGulu machine. Properly connect the tube, then start the fermentation process.
Twelve days later, pour from the tap — already chilled, already sparkling, already clear.
