Yes, it’s possible to brew with this kit manually. However, you’ll need to prepare your own:
*Fermentation keg
*Temperature and pressure control system
*CO₂ supply setup
*Dispensing method

They may look similar, but Amber Lager and Amber Ale are quite different in flavor. Amber Ale is an ale—fruitier, slightly sweeter, with a rounder mouthfeel. Amber Lager, on the other hand, is a lager—cleaner, crisper, and more focused on toasty malt character.
If you enjoy malt-forward beers but prefer something smoother and more refreshing, Amber Lager is your perfect middle ground.

Not at all! Bitterness is mild (18–25 IBU), similar to or even softer than Pale Ale.
It’s flavorful but approachable, perfect for everyday enjoyment.

Low foam may be caused by:
*Fermentation at too high a temp or too short a time
*Insufficient carbonation (make sure to chill and pressurize for 24+ hrs)
*Residual oils on the glass preventing head retention
Amber Lager isn't as foamy as wheat beers by nature, but with proper settings, it should still produce a fine, creamy head.
