iGulu F1 Smart All-in-One Home Brewer – Beer, Cider, Kombucha & More

This machine is SO COOL!!!

Easy to set up and start brewing. The results of the first brew of Belgian Saison was tasty, and I'm glad I purchased the system! Also, Igulu was pretty responsive in answering my questions.

A few caveats: 1) The Wi-Fi connection is weak and inconsistent, and drops out frequently, and the amount of information on the app is severely lacking, although I don't have Master Mode capabilities and I will probably have to upgrade. 2) Getting the carbonation from a SodaStream bottle to work was problematic, and I had to fuss with it before it began to work. However, I did start my brew session without a CO2 bottle attached (it has to be ordered separately and I wanted to start brewing right away) , and maybe if it had been attached from the get-go it might have been seamless. 3) It would be nice to have standard ball lock keg connections, as I would like to move the brewed beer to a standard Kegerator so that I can start another brew going, but I'm sure I can build some adapters on my own. Maybe Igulu can market some adapters in the future. 4) You cannot set the serving temperature or the CO2 pressure from the app or on the machine display (but I don't have Master Mode capability), at least with the version of software and firmware that I have. 5) I had read that the beer foams badly without taking proper steps for dispensing. I purchased 10 feet of tubing to use on the serving outlet, but the tubing I bought doesn't get pinched enough to keep the outlet tap from leaking. I purchased more tubing (to be delivered today) with a larger O.D., and hope that will allow the tap handle and pinching assembly in the tap to stop the flow adequately. I don't want to find out the system has leaked beer all over my hardwood floors. Currently I am using the internal clamp on the serving hose inside the machine to stop the flow.

In general, I believe this system will be great to use after a few quirks are worked out. I'm looking forward to my next brew!!

Fantastic brewer. I'm an experienced home brewer and I loved how easy brew day was. It works as advertised and was easy to adapt to my own new recipe for hard seltzer.
