Regarding the App and F1 Machine Firmware Version

  • Hello everyone,

Recently, we have received feedback from some users that after updating their F1 machines to firmware version 2.7.2, they experienced an issue where the machine would automatically exit the "Cooling Program." We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

After continuous UAT testing by the iGulu technical team, we have identified and resolved this issue. We have now released the latest firmware version 2.7.4 with the following optimizations:

    • Fixed the issue where the machine would freeze and restart while in operation.
    •  Added Master Mode functionality: Custom recipes now support three-stage temperature and time settings.
    • Added the ability to customize pressure in CO2 mode during the cooling program (dispensing pressure range: 6-15 psi).
         - Note: This feature is only available when manually starting the CO2 mode in the cooling program.
    • Added the ability to bind the machine by scanning a QR code.

    Firmware Upgrade Steps:

    1. Ensure that the mobile app is up to date. The latest version is "1.9.0/1.9.2".
If your phone uses the iOS system, you can directly search for "iGulu" in the App Store.
If your phone uses the Android system, you can download the app via this link:    https://www.pgyer.com/iGulu.
Alternatively, you can scan the QR code to download the app.

    2. Reset the machine to factory settings.
    F1→Settings→Reset

    3. Follow the instructions in the video, to connect the machine to WiFi.

    4. Tap on "Settings → Upgrade" on the machine screen, wait a few minutes, and the firmware will be updated to version 2.7.4.

    Please note that:

    • Binding the machine using the app can only be done through the app's search function, while the system upgrade for the machine must be done directly on the machine's screen.
    • The older system version of machine may experience unstable Wi-Fi connections, so you can try using a mobile hotspot as a substitute for the Wi-Fi connection.
    • The main function of Bluetooth is to pair the app and the machine for the first time. Once the app has successfully bound to the machine, it won't be affected even if the Bluetooth connection is lost. Remote monitoring and operation of the machine via the app mainly rely on Wi-Fi, so it is essential to keep the machine connected to Wi-Fi.

    Thanks

    Freddie
