Power died on S1 unit

  • I woke up this morning and my S1 was completely dead. I had been in chill mode for the past couple weeks, enjoying a Belgian tripel, and finished it last night. I mistakenly left the power on and chill function enabled at 37 degrees and I think it created too cold of an environment since there was no beer left. When I removed the fermenter there was water in the bottom like with prior brews, but after I unplugged and inspected the unit, a small amount of water was coming out of the bottom of the unit as well. I suspect that water condensed in the electronics area from the very cold temp and rising humidity in SC.

Has anyone else had this issue? Did it correct itself after drying out or did it require replacement?

  • If after a 30-second power outage and restarting the machine, the screen and the gas source indicator light on the back of the S1 machine still do not turn on, it is likely that the power adapter is damaged. In this case, please contact our support email to arrange for a replacement.
