Perfect Everyday Beer

This amber lager was exactly what I wanted--malty, smooth, and super easy to drink. It had a nice caramel note and a clean finish. Definitely a crowd-pleaser, especially with food. I'll be ordering it again.

Bad sale

Bought the 5 pack and they expire in two months. No way could you brew these fast enough. Do not purchase in bulk. The amber lager is horrible or it's just the fact that igulu made sure they were going to rotate their old stock to me. amber AlE is the best product from this device.

big bucket of foam

I ended up with a big bucket of continuous foam, and. flat poor tasting "beer"...

Fabulous, full bodied amber

I've brewed two of the amber ale kits and both were spot on. Despite some uncertainty about the priming sugars (no instructions) the results were wonderful with a nice hint of tangerine. The two kegs were shared among friends and finished within hours and the responses, even among experienced home brewers was that the Igulu is a winner. A bit more work on the instructions would help, specifically regarding the priming sugars and the role, function and implementation of the CO2 cartridge would be my only suggestions for improvements. Thanks for a fabulous product, and special thanks for vindicating those of us who stood with you during the bleak Indiegogo days.

Great balanced beer

After figuring out the foaming issue that kills carbonation, Amber Lager became one of my favorite beers. No strong notes, just a well balanced beer with perfect carbonation that is not too gassy like a Budweiser or other cheap beers. This is a much higher quality beer.

Origin Story

Amber Lager began in 19th-century Germany and Austria and evolved across the Americas.
Valued for its caramel notes and balance, it’s a seasonal favorite especially in fall.
