I noticed the iGulu website has different listings for F1 fermenter and S1 fermenter. The S1 model is and has been sold out for a while. However, when you select the F1 model, the description states "Designed for both F1 and S1 brewers, it withstands high pressure and temperature."
Are they one and the same!? I need a second fermenter for dry hopping, conditioning and transferring. Any clarification would be appreciated.
@Ryan The keg bodies of the F1-Keg and S1-Keg are identical with no real difference. The only distinction lies in the spare dispensing tube included inside the keg—the tube for the S1 machine is longer than the one for the F1 machine. As far as I know, there is currently no stock of the S1-Keg.
If you are using the F1 machine, you can simply purchase the F1-Keg.
If you are using the S1 machine, you can purchase the F1-Keg and then leave a message to the support email so that customer service can note that you need the dispensing tube for the S1 machine.
