The optimal temperature range for the Dry Yeast #6 used in the Ale's ingredient kits is 68˚- 71.6° F that the yeast becomes more active and produces an appropriate amount of esters and other flavor compounds, giving the beer a rich aroma and complex taste.

PROPER INGREDIENT MIXING

To achieve the best brewing results possible, it is recommended to thoroughly mix the malt extract, hops, and water before adding the yeast. As such, please follow the noted steps for best tasting results.
