Anyone else having an issue updating the firmware from the unit? It is connected to wifi and it detects a new update available. When it trys to download the update it fails. 

They're a great find. Buy the sampe kit and give it a go with some DME. I checked to see if they ship to the UK. They do, but for $250 shipping!!! Time to hunt down similar locally

In case you have not tried yet, update the iGulu to the latest version, as there have been many firmware updates while you were away. They also released a new app version a few days ago version 1....
